High-touch surface treatment
Disinfection and sanitization.
Disinfection is mostly misunderstood as a product question when it is a procedure question. Every disinfectant has a contact time, meaning the number of minutes the surface has to stay visibly wet to work. A surface sprayed and immediately wiped dry has been cleaned, not disinfected. It also has to be cleaned first: disinfectant applied over soil does very little. That order is the whole service.

What the job includes.
Clean first, then disinfect
Soil removed before product goes on, because disinfectant over dirt is largely wasted.
High-touch surface register
Handles, switches, rails, shared keyboards, card readers and taps, listed and worked through.
Correct contact time held
Surfaces kept wet for the full dwell the product specifies, not sprayed and wiped.
Electrostatic application
For large or complex spaces where even coverage by hand is impractical.
Washrooms and shared facilities
The highest-density contact areas in any building.
Post-illness response
Targeted treatment after a confirmed case in a workplace, home or facility.
How it runs.
-
Scope the contact points
We identify what actually gets touched in your space rather than treating all surfaces equally.
-
Two stages, in order
Clean, then disinfect. Compressing them into one pass is what makes most disinfection ineffective.
-
Re-entry timing given
You are told how long before the space can be reoccupied, which depends on the product used.
What changes the price.
Quotes are free and given in writing after we have seen the space. These are the things that actually move the number.
Number of contact points
We scope what is actually touched rather than treating every surface equally.
Application method
Manual work suits small offices. Electrostatic suits large or cluttered spaces.
One-off or recurring
Outbreak response is priced as a call-out. Scheduled high-touch work is priced into the routine.
Questions we get asked.
Does this kill viruses?
Discuss the surfaces, required products and label contact times before booking. Surface disinfection is different from sterilisation; confirm any specialist requirements with the team.
How long before we can use the room again?
Usually 10 to 30 minutes depending on the product and ventilation. We tell you the number for the specific product used on your site.
Is electrostatic spraying better?
For large or cluttered spaces, yes. It wraps coverage around objects that hand-wiping would miss. For a small office, careful manual work on the surfaces people actually touch is just as effective.
Do we need this regularly or just after an outbreak?
Most clients add high-touch disinfection to their regular routine at a set frequency, and book a targeted response on top of that if a case comes up.
